Happy Monday! I'm so very excited to be having a give a way with Andrea over at pink sugar photography. She has some truly amazing parties and I thought it was only fitting to host a contest with her. Please go to pinksugarland and check out her post. Also while you are there check out her cute kids and amazing photography skills. Seriously can't wait for my session in the spring. Here are some photos from her past parties full of diy's and yummy treats.
So amazing right?! All photos are from PinkSugar Photography. Again please enter and have fun! I could be sending you a party in a box :)

washi tape
What is washi tape? I have heard this question a bunch of times in the last few days...don't worry I didn't know much about it either until Pinterest came around :)
"mt" brand washi tape is the original masking rice paper tape that comes from Japan. It is transparent (but not too much) and comes in a rainbow of beautiful colours and patterns. This tape is easy to reposition and tear by hand. You can also write on it for a quick note or label. (I label my daughter's school supplies and lunch items) This tape is wonderful for just about any craft project large or small, wrapping a sweet package or gift, just about anywhere you can think of to add a touch of colour. Shop here to check out my selection of "mt" brand washi tape.
I thought I would share with you some of my favourite ideas for using the washi tape. All images were found via Pinterest and original links will get posted under the photo for credit. Take a look and let me know have you tried any of these? Do you have a photo? I would love to share it :)
Pick up a roll or two and have some fun! Hope this post has inspired you :)

Here is one of my favourite ways to use washi tape. Make cake or cupcake flags. Super fast and super easy-doesn't this ombre cake look amazing with the gold dot washi tape? I think this baby girl was one lucky little lady.
